NY PACERS welcomes all the new team members. And Thankfull to the old ones. We are hoping to have a good 3rd year in BCANA league. NY PACERS lost some old teammates and meet some new and talented ones. Wish the best for the old ones and we are ready to roar with newly organized NY PACERS!!!!

NY Pacers is the vision of an individual who's enthusiasm, determination and persuasion led to the establishment of this team. The team is formed on the basis of three fundamental factors - Trust, Respect and Relationship. These are the driving factors that will ultimately measure the success of NY Pacers. Like any team in a tournament, an ultimate goal for NY Pacers is to win the Championship but it will not be at the cost of losing trust, respect or relationship among the members of the team. Every decision is made collectively as a team and therefore, every success and failure is shared equally among the members.

Our respected Dipon Bhai is the founding father of this team. His tireless attempt to encourage us all in believing that it is possible to form a team and compete in a tournament was surreal yet very much motivational. After much compromises and commitments, seven members of NY Pacers started the team back in March '09 with a strong desire and commitment to complete the team with all eleven players. Since then, the team has welcomed four additional players who carries the same values that NY Pacers is based upon completing the formation of the team.

Like any organization, roles and responsibilities have been assigned to certain individuals within the team to provide leadership and maintaining a healthy team environment. It is widely accepted by every member that the team's Captain and Vice Captain will provide the technical leadership on the field. Outside of the field there is a treasurer who will be responsible for managing the financial aspects, the team manager to manage the team logistics and an overall success of the team and a sponsor who will be responsible for bringing financial aids to the team. All these roles and responsibilities have been assigned upon an unanimous decision from the team. Inspite of the roles assigned, every decision is preceded by a team discussion. At his reluctance, the team has decided to crown Dipon Bhai as the Chairperson of NY Pacers. He wears multiple hats within the team and acts as a backup for any position.

No achievement goes without noting the compromises that went behind it. As a team without much experience, every team member continues to sacrifice family time to practice weekends and several weeknights to prepare for the upcoming league. Without the support from their families, it would not have been possible to come this far with the team. Hats off to all our families.

NY Pacers will lead by respect for our team members, demonstrating skill sets and sportsmanship, have one voice as a team and play no political position inside or outside of the team.
